Surface Finishing Facility (Paint)

EDM prepare and apply industrial and aerospace coatings to exacting standards utilising our bespoke  7m X 4m X 2.8m, ISO 9001 2015 approved wet paint facility. EDM also possess a full suite of calibrated instrumentation and measuring devices to ensure that customer and national standard paint requirements are met, verified and recorded.

Our customers include many of the world’s top airlines, defence and aerospace companies. All our preparation, application and drying process meet current environmental standards.

Using our dedicated engineering team EDM can supply tailored wet paint solutions that meet or exceed our customers’ requirements.

Items are coated with an intermediate primer. Items needing refurbishment will have a layer of high build zinc phosphate primer applied before topcoat to allow for any repairs to be carried out.

Topcoats are available in the following colour standards: RAL, British Standard, AMS-595a, Pantone and BAC. We are able to finish these colours in sheens ranging from 10%-100% gloss levels, and can be applied as flat or textured finish.
